Typical Morning....

I walk to work every day... From downtown across the cambie bridge to West 2nd & Columbia (right next to Bazaar Novelties) and durning my walk I pass by several construction sites as anyone would because Vancouver is always undergoing some sort of facelift.

Now I work as a Graphic Designer & do like what I do but how fun would it be to dig holes!! I mean you get to ride around in big machinery all day & move dirt around. I remember I used to love to dig holes when I was a kid and am wondering if I missed my calling? I bet you get to crank your music loud & sing along as well! I'm going to look into this... Every girl should have something they could fall back on.

As I was busy envying dude, I got honked at and passed by a guy on a scooter & a second wave on envy fell over me. Now, I'm sure he needs a scooter to help his mobility but schizam! that would be a great way to get around!.. Not a bonafide scooter per se but rather one of those segways! Yes, a segway would be hot. I would not only be higher then everyone else but rather fashionable too don't you think?



Can't you just picture me booting over the Cambie Bridge on my Segway smacking strangers w/ my umbrella as I pass them sipping my latté? i think I'm onto something... The question is... where do I put it when I go to the bar? Am I allowed to bring it in w/ me? Will i have to stick to pubs that are street level as I can't go down the stairs... AND when I go home, would I get a ticket for drinking & ridiing? I also think if I met a boy & wanted to take him home would he drive then & I have to wrap my arms around his waist or will I maintain control?
